Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. The most famous role she has played is Bo, from the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was produced by Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter, an academic and Peter Silk, an actor, director, producer, playwright, educator, as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers watching her mother working and going to the rehearsals for her plays. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials while she was a young child. The Bachelor in Arts was awarded by St. Thomas University, 1997. On April 10 2011 they renew their vows during a Jewish celebration in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second child was born in the month of May 2016. Silk is well-known for her television role as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she received nominations from the Gemini Awards. Her most notable role was in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus, as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk made it known to her fans that she was expecting a baby in January 2013 during the Showcase Season Three Special. Silk is working on Lost Girl since the third season finale episode was first conceived on January 6 2013. She announced via Twitter her intention to return the 4th of June 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on fourth season. Her portrayal of Bo together with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers with the same gender in the show Lost Girl was named one of the all-time Top Television Couples in the year 2013 by CNN (Cable News Network) and named the Top Television Couple in 2013. The same was done by E! Entertainment Television. Silk is a huge following on Facebook and Twitter as a direct result of its success.
